We were thrilled to host 40 talented college seniors from California State University, Fullerton, California State University, Long Beach, California State University, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California at the 2nd annual LIGA Pro Day at NFL LA! This professional development event, organized by LIGA—the NFL's Employee Resource Group for the Latino community and its allies—aims to raise awareness of the diverse career paths available in the sports industry. Participants also had the opportunity to network with sports professionals, building a pipeline for future talent. The day kicked off with two breakout sessions focused on resume building and interview skills, giving students the tools they need to succeed in their job search. It was followed by an engaging panel moderated by NFL Network’s Omar Ruiz, featuring four amazing NFL employees who shared their unique career journeys and advice. The day wrapped up with a lively networking mixer, where students had the opportunity to connect with professionals from various NFL departments and build meaningful relationships.
