Reishi™ wall panels became a projection screen at MATTER and SHAPE in Paris! Fabricated by Maison Fey (Atelier d'Excellence) and destined for architectural and interior design, these wall panels blend the French heritage craft of gainerie (sheathing and encasing) with a high performing natural material. The wall of Reishi™ panels was then creatively purposed as a projection screen at MATTER and SHAPE for the JIL SANDER Talks program, Shasha Movies film screening, and signage throughout the event. ** Buy the Reishi™ Sample Kit and start creating today: https://lnkd.in/gpECMnHk Reishi™ Pedestal made by Sonia Ahmimou Photography by Mickaël Llorca and Jordi Manca Matilla

In 2018, I touched a little sample of material made with #Mycelium. That day, my mind and my career shifted. I saw the opportunity to launch a truly new material to the world and build a brand/ company while doing it. Since day one, We knew that we wanted to inspire designers and creators around the globe and to change the perception of Fungus. From Killing it - to create with it. First, We used storytelling to make visible the invisible. Second, We used branding to make people stop, and see us. Third, We partnered with designers to reimagine what is possible with our material. Today, We are making it available to everybody. Join us March 7 — 10 in the Jardin des Tuileries for MATTER and SHAPE (2025). 2025 marks the centenary of the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris, and MATTER and SHAPE (2025) draws inspiration from this pivotal moment in design history. MATTER and SHAPE (2025) will return to the Jardin des Tuileries, with two facing pavilions designed by Willo Perron of Perron — Roettinger, covering a combined area of 4,000 m². The Tuileries and Concorde pavilions will include custom exhibitions and installations, the MATTER and SHAPE shop, and restaurant and café concepts in collaboration with We Are ONA, ZARA HOME, and sacai. In the ‘theatre’, the JIL SANDER Design Talks return for the second year, inviting leading designers, architects, and thought leaders to take the stage in recorded sessions that will be released as podcasts in partnership with koozarch studio. On Saturday March 8th, an intimate film night will take place with Shasha Movies, featuring films by Valentin Noujaïm, Mohamed Bourouissa & Rayane Mcirdi in the presence of the artists and Róisín Tapponi. Both programs will showcase a world-first mushroom screen made with Reishi by MycoWorks.
