🌟 Get to Know Our CEO: How Did Moreno Hospitality Experts Begin? The story of Moreno Hospitality Experts didn’t start with a business plan. It started with an example. Our CEO grew up watching his father work in hospitality. The long hours, the stories, the commitment to service—it all left a mark. It sparked a passion that would later define his own path. At just 16 years old, while still in school, he decided to step into the hospitality world himself. His first job was at a Five Diamond hotel in Las Colinas (Irving, Texas), where he started in housekeeping. It wasn’t easy, but there was one rule that kept him motivated: 👉 “If you show up on time, work hard, and stay consistent for six months, you can request to transition into a new position.” He took that challenge seriously. After six months of dedication, he earned a transfer to the pool area as a towel attendant, where he began interacting with guests and learning how service really worked. He noticed a small food and drink menu at the pool bar, so during slow moments, he helped servers and studied the menu on his own time. That drive didn’t go unnoticed. The manager gave him a chance in Room Dining, and soon after, he was given the opportunity to work in the Banquets Department for social events. He made mistakes, but he learned fast—always choosing to grow under the guidance of the right mentors and through real experience. His career advanced through some of the leading hotel brands in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Each one taught him something different—how every brand serves a unique guest, with distinct needs and standards. Then came a turning point: a Banquet Manager role at a top-notch hotel on one of Mexico’s stunning beaches. There, he was able to combine creativity with excellence. He helped launch the “Chevychería,” a beachside truck offering ceviches, drinks, and cocktails—creating unique moments for guests that blended flavor and experience. Later, in a boutique hotel, he refined his love for the details—those small touches that make a guest feel truly seen and cared for. Hospitality, for him, had become something much deeper. Much later in his journey, an unjust dismissal changed everything. A moment that could have broken him—but instead, it became a turning point. "If this isn’t fair, then I’ll build something that is." That’s how Moreno Staffing, LLC was born in June 2018—now known as Moreno Hospitality Experts. No perfect plan. Just passion, purpose, and the belief that hospitality should be built on respect, professionalism, and heart. The challenges never stopped—but neither did his vision. Today, with over 25 years of experience, our CEO leads a trusted, passionate agency obsessed with the details—training teams that don’t just work in hospitality… They embody it.
