Through this innovative lease program provided by Merichem Technologies, gas streams containing H₂S can be scrubbed via a ready-to-ship sulfur adsorption unit with minimal capital cost and with an uninterrupted cycle. The systems are specifically designed to remove the maximum amount of H₂S and light mercaptans using SULFURTRAP media. The SULFURTRAP media provides high sulfur loading, low pressure drop even at end-of-run conditions, as well as easier and safer changeouts. Selecting the optimum treatment for removing impurities from hydrocarbon streams is a challenging task for industries around the world. When it comes to H2S and mercaptans present in crudes, these impurities must be removed from intermediate or final products for performance, economic, environmental, and health reasons.
