They had a heartfelt and transparent discussion about the entrepreneurial experience, from startup to IPO to grad school and back to startup again. Many thanks to... ◌ Alex Raymond, Dave Mayer, and the rest of the organizing team for producing an amazing event and inviting us to be part of it - including the photographers who snapped these awesome shots! ◌ Other speakers like Ryan Holiday, Sherrell Dorsey, and Liz G., who delivered enlightening and inspiring talks. ◌ The Boulder/Colorado community members, who warmly welcomed us and showed up with curiosity and enthusiasm. #Boulder #community #startups #entrepreneurship #conference

Start with the end: hire your boss. "You need to see this person as your boss, even though you created the company and have many ideas. Ultimately, they need the ability to make the decisions required for a CEO" Meet Isaac Saldana, co-founder and former CEO of SendGrid, the API-centric email platform that went public in 2017 and was acquired by Twilio for $3 billion in 2019. From founding multiple startups that failed to facing challenges as a first-time founder with little business background and an introverted personality. I sat with him in today’s episode to talk about: ▶️Transition from founder to becoming a CEO ▶️The role of the founder ▶️Business lessons from SendGrid's success ▶️What does it mean to build a social network platform for introverts Listen here: https://lnkd.in/gDKghnuQ — Empieza por el final: contrata a tu jefe.
