Today we launch a new integration for Journey by Mediavine publishers– Google Analytics 4 is now the primary analytics source for data in all Journey by Mediavine Dashboards. Google Analytics is a longstanding accepted standard in traffic analytics data sources for publishers, including our Mediavine publishers. Earnings, RPMs, Impressions, Sessions, and Pageviews will remain, but now Sessions and Pageviews will be generated by GA4 instead of Grow, as long a publisher’s GA4 account is connected. While Grow Analytics most accurately looks at monetizable traffic by tracking reader data and actions between each site and the product, GA4 offers a more comprehensive representation of traffic to each site, leading to different insights. We hope this addition of GA4 helps publishers continue to make informed, data-driven decisions when monetizing their sites with Journey by Mediavine. Have questions? This year’s Premiere Publisher Retreat landed us in Palm Springs, California. We invited Mediavine’s top-performing publishers to spend a few days with us at the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage, attending educational sessions on the top topics of 2025, fostering new relationships through peer networking, booking 1-on-1 time with industry experts, and experiencing entertainment found only in Palm Springs. This year’s event strengthened business ideas, inspired new growth, and celebrated successes as we move into 2025.
