Enjoyed serving as a Museum Graduate Intern at the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC) through the UF Graduate School Internship Initiative. During this 8-week experience, I led the design and cataloging of a new museum space showcasing the history and innovation of loss prevention. My design work focused on spatial layout planning, secure display strategies, and integrating interactive elements to enhance the visitor experience. Key contributions: - Designed engaging exhibition layouts with attention to flow, visibility, and artifact preservation - Initiated and developed a comprehensive cataloging system for physical and digital assets - Conducted research on preservation methods, lighting solutions, and visitor engagement tools Grateful to Dr. Read Hayes, PhD for the opportunity and leadership, Dr. James Gillespie for his continued mentorship and support, and Diego Rodriguez for his kind and thoughtful day-to-day guidance.
