The salary range for this position is $125,000 – $160,000 per year. The California Wellness Foundation is seeking a skillful, creative, strategic communications professional to serve as a Senior Communications Officer. This role will focus on proactively elevating the voice of the foundation and its partners to expand visibility, influence, engagement and impact. The Senior Communications Officer will have the opportunity to amplify Cal Wellness’ work using finely honed strategy, storytelling, and influence, collaborate across the organization, and serve as a senior strategic communications lead to the programs team and key program areas. Shohei Ohtani made history on Thursday as the first player in Major League Baseball history to record at least 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single season. Ohtani’s historic achievement also marked him as the first Los Angeles Dodgers to hit 50 home runs in a season, breaking the franchise’s record previously set by Shawn Green in 2001. To celebrate the 2024 Dodgers City Connect jerseys, we hosted an LA City Connect Showcase this morning at Belvedere Park presented by Fanatics and Nike! Dodgers Dreamteam players, along with players from last year's Nike RBI Regionals, participated in the game and were coached by Jason Heyward, Bobby Miller, Orel Hershiser, and Adrian Gonzalez. Additionally, we provided Dodger fandom and vital resources during a Dodger Day, presented by ARCO. The community event brings together program partners so that #DodgersDreamteam players and their families can access health screenings, education programs, basic essentials, and fun! #BiggerThanBaseball
