A well-deserved congratulations are in order for Inceptor Bio, a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering next-generation cell therapies, as their team announced that the first patient has been dosed in the clinical trial of IB-T101, the company’s lead program. In conjunction with this milestone, Inceptor Bio has successfully closed a $21 million Series A2 financing, which will support the ongoing clinical development of IB-T101 and the expansion of its next-generation cell therapy pipeline. Congratulations are in order for ReCode Therapeutics, a proud partner of Longfellow Real Estate Partners, for their recent announcement of new funding from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CF Foundation) to support ReCode’s gene correction research program with the goal of developing and commercializing new treatments for people with cystic fibrosis. “We are grateful to the CF Foundation for their ongoing support of our efforts to develop novel treatments for people living with cystic fibrosis,” said Shehnaaz Suliman, M.D., MBA, M.Phil., chief executive officer of ReCode Therapeutics. “This funding will support our gene correction approach, enabling us to significantly accelerate research in collaboration with Intellia and to advance the development of a potentially transformative treatment for CF.
