#Housing prices are soaring nationwide. With a rising demand from millennials, homebuilding lagging behind, local restrictions and investor buying, the housing market is one of the toughest it’s ever been, reports Andrea Riquier in USA TODAY. That’s why local solutions are key to ensuring #AffordableHousing. https://lnkd.in/efjN8CAM

As prices rise in Ohio’s housing market, LISC Cleveland is making sure multi-generational Cleveland families can stay in their homes and access their equity by ensuring they have free and clear title to the property. Multiple homes with unclear titles can compound into “real estate deserts” that are vulnerable to large outside investors, reports Kim Palmer in Crain's Cleveland Business. LISC Cleveland’s approach couples a clean title with a home repair, workforce training and financial coaching program, says Kandis Williams, Executive Director of Cleveland LISC. It’s a program successfully developed and implemented by LISC Jacksonville that can be scaled nationwide. We’re proud to partner with LISC Cleveland, the city of Cleveland and KeyBank to be #ImpactInvestors in affordable housing through the Cleveland Housing Investment Fund. https://lnkd.in/exG7Dn-3
