Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining "The Media Odyssey" podcast live at MIP LONDON with Evan Shapīro and Marion Ranchet - two of the most respected voices in the content and streaming industry. The session was a deep dive into the global content economy, exploring the latest trends and unpacking the ever-evolving streaming landscape. In my segment, we covered a lot of ground in a short space of time: from why this is such a transformative moment for CTV and streaming to how the rapid growth of FAST and AVOD is creating new opportunities for publishers and advertisers. I shared insights into LG Electronics' ambitions to transform into a media and entertainment platform company, discussed LG Channels' evolving content strategy in Europe, and highlighted the pivotal role of the Home Screen as the new 'first impression' in today's TV experience. There was even time for a questionable avocado analogy at the end! 🥑 It was an exciting and dynamic conversation, and it was a real honour to share the stage and exchange ideas with such sharp and insightful minds.
