KU Leuven recently hosted a highly successful Summer School on "Security and Privacy in the Age of AI," drawing 59 researchers from around the world. The event provided a collaborative platform for exploring critical issues at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Security & Privacy.   Over the course of the program, participants engaged in insightful discussions on themes such as the robustness of ML applications in adversarial environments, data protection, and fairness in AI systems. Attendees also worked together to develop research plans targeting future innovations in these fields.   With a strong emphasis on knowledge-sharing and joint research, the summer school achieved its goal of fostering a vibrant academic exchange, leaving attendees inspired and ready to tackle the challenges ahead in AI-driven security and privacy.
