Would you trust a website just because it looks professional? 👀 Cybercriminals are getting better at building websites that appear legitimate while quietly stealing money, personal data, or browser access. In our latest Securelist research, Kaspersky experts reveal: 🔍 The biggest red flags to watch for 🛑 How fake browser extensions hijack user activity 🌍 The most common suspicious websites by region 💸 Why “too good to be true” offers still work One surprising finding: fake browser extensions posing as security tools were among the most widespread threats globally. Before you click “buy,” connect your wallet, or install that extension, take a closer look. Think the App Store guarantees safety? Kaspersky researchers have uncovered phishing apps mimicking popular crypto wallets, designed to trick users into giving away their seed phrases. The catch: They don’t look suspicious. They look exactly like the real thing. In some cases, users are even redirected to fake App Store pages to install compromised apps. One mistake is enough to lose access to your crypto. Stay cautious: 🔍 Always verify the developer ⭐ Check recent reviews carefully ⚠️ Never enter your seed phrase in apps or websites 🔐 Use trusted security solutions 👉 Learn how these attacks work and how to protect your assets: https://kas.pr/1fu3 #cybersecurity #crypto #ios #macos #phishing #infosec

We were the target. Operation Triangulation wasn’t just another cyber-espionage campaign, it targeted Kaspersky’s own employees. And it worked in a way that’s hard to ignore. In this clip, Igor Kuznetsov, Director of Kaspersky’s Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT), explains how attackers used a chain of zero-day exploits to compromise fully updated iPhones and iPads. Even fully patched devices were vulnerable. Does this change how you think about “fully secure” devices? #cybersecurity #threatintel #infosec #zeroday

AI agents can now send emails, move files and trigger actions without human approval at every step. Efficiency is rising. So is the attack surface. More on this at HORIZONS 2026, Rome. #KHorizons

Two weeks later, and #KasperskyCyberInsights is still giving us plenty to think about. It wasn’t just the conversations around AI and modern SOCs. It was also the energy of bringing together our customers, experts, and teams in one place. 🤝 Across every session, demo, and discussion, the focus stayed grounded in the realities security teams are facing today: ▪️Human-driven attacks are on the rise ▪️AI is reshaping both sides of cybersecurity ▪️Visibility, speed, and trust now define resilience ▪️Modern SOCs need to move from reactive to proactive And beyond the conference halls, this event gave people a chance to reconnect, exchange ideas, and simply spend time together outside the usual day-to-day. Here’s a look back at the moments that shaped this year’s event. 📷 #Kaspersky #CyberSecurity #ThreatIntelligence #AI #SOC

Reduce the risks of vibe coding When organizations provide employees, even experimentally, with AI development tools, the risk of new vulnerabilities and misconfigurations skyrockets. We've already discussed AI's tendency to produce insecure code, but the problem worsens when these tools are used by people unfamiliar with software engineering and cybersecurity. At first glance, internal innovation and productivity increase: marketing and sales teams create their own analytic dashboards and automation scripts, and everyone is happy. However, a superficial audit often reveals that sales data is accessible, at best, to the entire company and, at worst, to any anonymous user on the internet. Even if the business accepts these risks and permits AI experiments, implementing relatively low-cost measures to mitigate threats is essential. We've compiled simple, vibe coder–oriented recommendations on how to instruct AI to generate safer projects. Including explicit requests to avoid reinventing encryption and authentication, to check code against top OWASP vulnerability classes, and similar guidelines significantly reduces major coding errors. Of course, this doesn’t guarantee fully secure code. That’s why the cybersecurity team must also clearly define which data and processes should never be entrusted to vibe coding. https://lnkd.in/gQcYtzrt #AI #vibecoding #tips

Not all phishing emails look suspicious anymore. Attackers are now using Amazon SES, a legitimate email service, to send messages that: • Pass SPF, DKIM, and DMARC checks • Come from trusted infrastructure • Look completely authentic Which means they can easily bypass both filters and human intuition. Instead of building fake systems, attackers are abusing real ones. What to keep in mind: • Do not rely on the sender alone • Always check where links actually lead • Verify unexpected requests through another channel Trust is no longer a reliable signal. Verification is. 👉 Learn more: https://kas.pr/6ud5 #CyberSecurity #Phishing #EmailSecurity
