QUICK I GROOVE – ISCAR’s New Line for Precision Internal Grooving Operations   ISCAR is enhancing its solutions for internal grooving with the introduction of new precision ground inserts. The inserts feature four cutting edges and are mounted on dedicated holders that feature an internal coolant supply directly to the cutting edge. QUICK I GROOVE holders unique design allow mounting of all insert widths on a single holder, widths between 0.039” – 0.118”.

ISCAR’s new miniature boring bar expansion: PICCO INDEX   ISCAR’s new PICCO Index boring bars are specifically engineered for securely clamping compact indexable ISO inserts to optimize internal machining of small parts with a minimum bore diameter of 0.177”. PICCO Index bars are available in both steel and solid carbide and can accept CCGT, WBMT, or laydown threading inserts.

ISCAR’s New Precision grooving & Parting Inserts for Swiss Machines   The Quick 2 Cut is a Tangential, Double-Sided Insert with Screw, “V” Shaped Clamping. The system design features a stable cut and high insert toughness. The superb clamping provides stable cut with excellent repeatability. The narrow insert widths of .013”-.079” provide maximum material savings and the ability of ½” diameter parting. Pinpointed coolant improves insert life & surface finish.

Do-Grip innovations continue with narrow sizes for raw material savings   Economical double-sided inserts pressed with a J type (sharp) chipformer for optimal chip control. 0.031” wide suitable for parting up to Ø.709 bars and 0.039 & 0.047” wide suitable for parting Ø.866 bars. Optimal design for Swiss Type machines with a very compact “SH” (Short Head) tool configuration with easy and fast indexing. Very user friendly and can also be used as a “bar stopper”. 

SumoCham with MultiMaster Connection   SumoCham with the MultiMaster Connection. Targeted for high production environments, both the drill head and body can be quick changed on the machine. This helps to reduce downtime, errors and the need to preset again. Coolant through drills in 2xD lengths in diameters .157” - .394”.

A new line of PICCO inserts has been developed with three cutting edges, designed for internal turning, boring, and chamfering applications. PICCO 3 CUT offers a wide range to accommodate miniature manufacturing needs. 0.118” - 0.275” minimum bore diameter capability with a usable length ranging up to 1.941” deep. PICCO 3 Cut solid bars come with an internal cooling system and can be securely fastened onto PICCO/MG PCO (PASSCUT) type holders. 

ISCAR’s NEW 3 Effective Cutting Edges for Boring and Enlarging Existing Holes   ISCAR introduces new F3B heads that mount on LOGIQ-3-CHAM drill bodies from 1.5xD to 10xD. They offer three times more productivity than single point boring bars while maintaining extremely good hole straightness and surface finish even when machining off-center pre-holes. The edge geometry features a positive chip breaker for excellent chip control in all materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and high temperature alloys.

Iscar LOGIQ3CHAM F3B counterbore heads enlarge a hole. Three-flute boring head Ø.472-1.020” mounts on drill body 1.5-10xD. Remove from .040” to as much as .140” per side. Bore up to .050” off center. Precision holes, straight, round & smooth with short chip in any material group.

ISCAR - CERMill BOOSTS PRODUCTIVITY IN MILLING OPERATIONS   ISCAR CERMILL features an ingenious clamping mechanism that offers extremely rigid retention of round ceramic inserts. The simple and user-friendly design allows for more inserts per diameter compared to existing designs. This combination makes the CERMILL ideal for boosting productivity, particularly milling planes and 3D surfaces in Heat Resistant Super Alloys and Cast Iron. CERMill endmills are currently offered in 0.625”, 0.750”, and 1.000” diameters.
