This year's New York Toy Fair featured buyers from 75 countries and territories as well as nearly 850 exhibiting toy companies. And despite concerns about the tariffs being imposed by the U.S. and how that will affect global strategies moving forward, attendees were optimistic about the licensing landscape in 2025 and beyond. Outbound licensing and collaborations, in particular, were a focus at this week's event as brand owners, manufacturers, and retailers work to connect with consumers and take advantage of properties that children (and kidults) love.
