During World War II, women weren’t allowed to serve in combat roles in the military. However, many women, such as Mae, resident at the Mansion at Rosemont, enlisted in the women’s reserve programs to replace deployed men at the base stations. A few highlights from HumanGood Affordable Housing’s Focus & Lead meeting. The team learned new leadership skills, collaborated with different departments, heard from inspiring speakers and asked important questions. At this year’s meeting, we also celebrated the inaugural group of Values Award winners, Alexis Giraldi Doudar, Wendy Ochoa, Erikka Mangan, Covenant Manor, James Connor, Ginet Chen, Amber Davis, Syuzanna Hovhannisyan, Maria Gamboa and Kimberly Johnson, for the inspiring work they do every day.
