  • And that's a wrap on another Student Game Dev Club meetup! A massive well done to everyone who attended and designed some funky games ;) The challenge itself: Starting in teams and creating your game but instead taking away those designs and giving it to someone else to carry on working on it The aim of the challenge was to learn to not be too attached to ideas and stay agile - no sunk cost fallacies here! Also learning to design and make an idea that is not your own. Games included most notably a game called SUFUKO - A twist on Sudoku where as you fill it out you gain points on a leader board and play against your friends and with enough points you unlock the SABOTAGE button to eliminate a row of your opponents work... a game of memory and calculation and ofc - SABOTAGE Thank you all for attending and a big well done! • 🚀 Springboard 2024 is off to an exciting start! 🚀 We're thrilled to share some highlights from Day 1, where we dove into the importance of effective communication through a fun and interactive exercise. Each team member described a picture they couldn't show, and the results were both surprising and insightful. Check out the original images versus the outcomes—how close did they get? Day 2 brought a deeper level of reflection as teams worked together on their Team Canvas. It was a day of building connections and understanding how to collaborate effectively. The energy in the room was palpable as everyone took the opportunity to get to know one another better. Key takeaways: 💡 Communication is key—it's not just about talking, but truly understanding. 💡 You're not alone—your team is your biggest asset in achieving success. 💡 Collaboration is the cornerstone—figuring out how to work together makes all the difference. Looking forward to the rest of this journey as we continue to grow and learn together! ------------ #Springboard2024 #TeamBuilding #WorkplaceCommunication #LeadershipDevelopment #Teamwork #ProfessionalGrowth #EmployeeEngagement #WorkshopExperience #TeamCollaboration #CorporateTraining #CommunicationSkills #TeamDynamics #LearningAndDevelopment #TeamSuccess #WorkplaceCulture
