This marks a proud and visionary milestone for Holiday Inn Club Vacations. On Tuesday, we officially cut the ribbon on the first completed phase of The Residences at Orange Lake Resort—a new era of luxury, multi-generational travel at the very place where our journey began more than 40 years ago.   This moment is the culmination of bold vision, incredible teamwork, and a deep belief that the future of travel is multi-generational. We have all heard the old adage it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. When it comes to family vacations, that old saying has always been true for my family. While the majority of the photos may have been captured at the destination, most of the memories are captured along the journey. That mindset was the genesis of adding these large homes to our product mix. Today’s families are more multi-generational than ever before when it comes to vacations and travel, and with that mindset, they travel as a herd. That is where memories are made, and this product aligns perfectly with families who want to stay together.   These are not just beautiful six-bedroom homes. They are purposefully designed spaces where families of all sizes can gather, reconnect, and create lifelong memories under one roof. At over 5,500 square feet, each Residence offers: > Dual master suites and six total bedrooms > Private pools, hot tubs, fire pits, and game rooms > Chef’s kitchens, indoor and outdoor dining spaces > Smart home features and personal golf carts... > and the kind of comfort and connection that redefines how families vacation together.   The first three Residences are already welcoming guests, and I can’t wait to see the memories that will be made here. We join the hospitality and vacation ownership industries in mourning the loss of David Siegel, Founder and Executive Chairman of Westgate Resorts — a true visionary and pioneer. From humble beginnings in a Kissimmee garage, Mr. Siegel built Westgate into the largest privately held timeshare company in the world. His leadership, grounded in grit and generosity, shaped not only a business but a culture and community that continues to thrive today. His impact extended far beyond the industry. After the heartbreaking loss of his daughter Victoria, Mr. Siegel became a tireless advocate in the fight against opioid abuse. Through the Victoria’s Voice Foundation, he helped pass life-saving legislation and raise national awareness. A husband, father, veteran, and philanthropist, Mr. Siegel gave back in countless ways — including more than 28,000 vacations gifted to military families. His legacy lives on through the joy his resorts bring, the lives his advocacy changed, and the example he set for so many. Thank you, Mr. Siegel. You will not be forgotten.
