In a demo a few weeks ago, one of our prospects texted the decision maker (also on the call) under the table saying "we need to buy this". I'll be honest - I was surprised by the feature that prompted their enthusiasm. It's not something we launched publicly (because we didn't think it was big enough) but it has actually be really impactful for Heron customers. So I am excited to announce... 📢 Programmatic file renaming 📢 If you receive packets of documents like emailed bank statements from brokers, tax returns that your customers upload to a drag-and-drop, payslips uploaded into an online form, or API'd drivers licences, you likely have a schema according to which you'd like the files to be named. The folks who are uploading the docs don't know the schema. You probably have FTEs or an outsourced workforce renaming these docs today. I have seen manuals 3 pages long, just dedicated to filename conventions from whatever hash they came in with, to a consistent format. Well - you can now automate that with Heron! 🐦 💡 All you need to do is provide us with your naming schema (e.g. for bank statements this might be “month | institution | last 4 digits” or your 3-page internal doc) 🤖 After classifying and reading your documents we rename them with your desired naming convention, e.g. from "bank1" to "Dec | Chase | **1234" Say goodbye to data processors renaming files and hello to consistent filenames across your organisation.
