State Representative Benjamin Franklin joined Achieve Brown County Collective Impact Partners to hear firsthand about the challenges and experiences surrounding childcare in Brown County. From childcare providers and workforce leaders to businesses, philanthropists, and parents, voices from across the community shared their perspectives on this critical issue. We appreciate Representative Franklin’s interest in learning more and look forward to continuing the conversation to support sustainable solutions for families and providers alike. One of Achieve Brown County's pillars is "Shared Community Vision", which means we commit to tackling the same issues and striving for the same results, across our county. Policy is one important way to get our community focused on the same goal. For the first time in nearly a decade and a half the Greater Green Bay Chamber will seek a new CEO. The organization’s Board of Directors received and accepted a request by Laurie Radke to complete her time with the organization, which will occur on August 31, 2025. “Serving in this role has been a great privilege. I’m so very proud of the impact that has been made and grateful for the relationships that have been built to further advance the Greater Green Bay Chamber and our region over the last 14 years,” said Laurie. “Coming to this decision wasn’t easy. But we’re given this one precious life and time is of the essence for me to see what else I might do with it. No matter where that takes me this work, this team and this community has my heart.” Later this month, Waverly Partners, the firm that led the Greater Green Bay Chamber process that hired Laurie, will begin guiding the search for a new leader. More details to come! Join us in congratulating Laurie for her outstanding leadership, and stay tuned for opportunities in the coming months to celebrate the lasting impact she’s had on Greater Green Bay!
