Meet the faculty for the GAME 2025 Conference, “Connecting the World, Transforming CPD.” Eva Hofstädter-Thalmann has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding senior commercial and medical affairs leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and Janssen. Her career spans Austria, the U.S., and, for the past 20 years, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She has worked extensively in oncology, hematology, and virology. In recent years, Eva has focused on the future of learning healthcare, serving as Chair of the EFPIA Working Group on Lifelong Learning in Healthcare, where she helped align the industry with a quality framework for medical education. She was President of GAME from 2023 to 2024. She was a committee member of ESMO’s Women4Oncology initiative, contributing to research on women’s leadership in oncology, and chaired the ESMO/Industry Group. She currently works on the Board of Directors for the Journal of European CME (JECME). Meet the faculty for the GAME 2025 Conference, “Connecting the World, Transforming CPD.” Mila Kostic, CHCP, FACEHP's 25+ - year career, current consulting work, volunteer efforts and interests have focused on advancing continuing professional development through life-long-learning and practice improvement in the context of the delivery of team-based, safe, patient-centered and collaborative care in a variety of settings. She enjoys collaborating on projects and publications focused on social aspects of learning and change. Mila has spent most of her professional life in the academic healthcare setting where she led teams in developing award-winning projects in E-Learning, early Communication training, and Performance Improvement across therapeutic areas and health delivery settings. She is an active member of several professional societies and organizations, including the Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME) and GAME. She has held many volunteer leadership positions in those organizations and was frequently an invited presenter and panelist at national and international meetings and has contributed publications in the CPD field. She currently serves on the Board of GAME where she helps facilitate programming and champions the development of an engaging and collaborative global community of practice and learning (CoPL). Meet the faculty for the GAME 2025 Conference, “Connecting the World, Transforming CPD.” Dean is the current president of GAME and is also a member of ACEHP, The National Association of Medical Education Companies and the CME Coalition. In 2002,Dean Beals founded DKBmed, a continuing medical education company operated by an experienced team of medical education professionals. Through the company’s long-standing relationships with healthcare systems in the US and globally (Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, Mass General Brigham, Xijing Hospital), Dean has developed a range of initiatives, including a number of quality improvement programs in diabetic eye, HIV and depression, all of which help health care professionals improve the care they provide their patients. Dean has also received multiple grants from the Opioid REMS program committee on behalf of the FDA to help stem the tide of the opioid epidemic. Dean has been published in numerous journals and presented at multiple industry meetings.
