Hey everyone! Pieces for Developers is launching LTM-2 on Product Hunt this Tuesday, March 4th! 🎉 I'm excited to share a tool that helps you deterministically interact with your data, outside of just chat responses. LTM-2 gives you a dedicated memories view where you can browse, search, and finally use all the information Pieces has collected. The goal is to avoid fatigue when writing semantic prompts and navigating LLM hallucinations. You can browse summaries, dive into granular timelines of raw events, and pull out specific text, URLs, drafts, or snippets. LTM-2 lets you set intentions like "track all GitHub issues I interact with today" and get focused summaries. It's about giving you more control and stability in accessing your long-term memory. The world of digital work doesn't know what's about to hit it. What we're about to launch at Pieces for Developers continues to blow my mind 🤯 Whether you're a developer or not, this is for you - Artificial Digital Memory 🧠 In all the chaos, context switching, meetings, projects, etc., Pieces keeps up with you to document and remember the things you won't. After wrapping up some work, I switched over to our Desktop App to see what's new, and waiting for me was rich, precise documentation of the work I was just doing, including details on a discussion I had and the decisions that were made. It also compiled links to GitHub PRs and Repositories I was working with readily available for me to jump back in or share with others.
