Welcome Cohort 1 of the Mission Delivery Network! These mission-driven organizations represent multiple sectors, industries, sizes, and geographies and join the Network with a common purpose to strengthen their internal capacity in service of their mission. I’ve come to realize that leadership isn’t just about the impact you make while you're there—it’s also about trusting those who come next. It’s about recognizing that the best leaders empower others to step in, bring their own style, and take the organization to new heights—even beyond what you achieved yourself. Thank you Stephanie, Muneeb "Meebs", Suzanne, and Lily, as well as Amy, Mollie, Nicole, and all the current and past Board members and staff of Generation SERVE for contributing your own leadership style to grow and sustain the organization these past 16 years. Special thanks to Tara and Liz for your ongoing commitment to this work and to Jenny and Deb for your friendship for which I’m most grateful. It was truly a Big Night Out last week for the organization and so glad to be part of such a memorable and fun-filled evening showcasing the generational impact achieved so far. Little Helpers - For Preschoolers! The Spring session is open for sign-ups (children ages 3 - 5). Little Helpers Learn and Play will take place Saturdays from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. beginning March 29th through April 26th. The program introduces families with young children to volunteering while making new friends in the community! Spots are very limited.
