Offices aren’t dead. But they are not what they used to be either. When the pandemic hit, it changed two things (among many others): where we worked and what we expected from work. The hybrid model emerged as a response. At Pegasus Content, we embraced it. And we still stand by it. But hybrid only works when everyone feels equally connected. Otherwise, remote distance can feel very real, very quickly: people working in parallel without really knowing what their teammates are doing, interactions reduced to scheduled meetings, and no real space for the spontaneous conversations where ideas usually spark. So we went looking for something that could close the gap. We found Gather. 🖥️ A virtual office that actually feels like one. You walk in, you see your teammates, you drop by someone's desk, you overhear a conversation, you have a dance party between meetings (yes, really). We skip the unnecessary videocall, and instead, we have a place. A few weeks ago in LA, I had the chance to sit down with Teresa A. and keep learning about this company that we genuinely love. Because it works. Because it makes our people feel less alone, more connected, and more like a team — no matter where they're logging in from. Culture and productivity don't have to compete.
