It’s always inspiring to learn from others’ experiences. Thank you to Exelon’s SVP of Federal Affairs, Marie S. for sharing her story and the important lessons she’s learned throughout her career during this event for Pepco employees in honor of Black History Month. Another great event hosted by Exelon African American Resource Alliance (EAARA) employee resource group!
We kicked off Black History Month with an inspiring fireside chat featuring Marie S. Dixon, our new SVP of Federal Affairs, and Sandra May, President of EAARA PHI. Marie shared her personal journey—her upbringing, the challenges she has faced in the workplace, and how she discovered a sense of belonging and success. She also spoke on the importance of inclusion and what it truly means to create a workplace where everyone can thrive. Following the discussion, employees had the opportunity to connect and continue the conversation at a networking event. Moments like these remind us of the strength that comes from diverse perspectives and lived experiences. #BlackHistoryMonth
