International network of Enterprise Risk Management professionals

About us

History This network was initiated back in 2012 under the joint impulse of CEA, CERN and ESA. Vision To nurture an international network of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practitioners supporting its members in developing sustainable stakeholders’ values through an effective enterprise risk management approach: ERMINe, standing for Enterprise Risk Management International Network. Scope and values ERMINe is a voluntary network of ERM practitioners interested in improving their knowledge, skills and abilities through the collective sharing of lessons learned and validated practices from their organizations. Organizationally, the network fundamentally values and relies upon the following unique blend of specific criteria: ▪ A global membership of high-level, experienced ERM practitioners; ▪ A balance of organizational backgrounds including but not limited to governmental, for-profit corporations, non-profit and research organizations; ▪ A collaborative environment in which open-minded exchanges are fostered, under a shared commitment of confidentiality based on the Chatham House Rule. Members are entitled to free speech and endeavour to welcome opinions that differ from their own or from common understandings of risk management. Purpose and objectives The purpose of ERMINe is to continuously improve discipline, policies, planning, implementation and the process of ERM thus contributing to the enhancement of ERM in members’ organizations. The ERMINe network will work collaboratively in a non-attributional environment to: ▪ Provide a cooperative forum for discussions including periodic meetings and events which gather all ERMINe members; ▪ Exchange ideas, methods, lessons learned, state-of-the-art and best practices across the ERMINe members’ organizations; ▪ Perform special collaborative projects of interest to members; ▪ Provide peer assistance to solve members’ ERM issues; ▪ Promote ERM research.
