We’re welcoming another amazing teammate this week—Nina Eiböck joins us as Chief of Staff and Finance Lead! 🎉 As our team continues to grow, we’re excited to have Nina bring her expertise and leadership to Ello. Can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make! 🚀 Before Ello, Nina was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan and worked in financial planning & analysis for a solar developer. Some of her other experience includes being a fractional CFO for a neurotech startup and a financial advisor for a Tanzanian Energy company, working on affordable fuel solutions in the region. She mostly grew up in Austria and eventually made her way to San Francisco. The journey included doing a BA in Economics & Management at Oxford, and MSc in Management Science & Engineering at Stanford (always focusing on finance of course). In her free time, Nina loves to ski, sometimes attempts whitewater kayaking and hangs out with her pet rabbits, Napoleon Bunnyparte and Warren Fluffet. Favorite Children’s Book: Das Magische Baumhaus (= “The Magic Treehouse” series) 📚

Welcoming Team Honeycomb to Team Ello! 🤝
Excited to share that Ello has acquired the Honeycomb team! Honeycomb developed safe AI image generation technology for families and especially children, powering millions of photos across the globe. Their team has deep expertise at the intersection of AI and products for parents and children. I’ve had the chance to follow Amelia Lin and her team’s journey over the past few years that we’ve spent building in adjacent spaces. This fall, it became clear to us that we’re chasing many of the same dreams and share extremely similar values. Adding the Honeycomb team at this stage will accelerate our journey towards building the first complete AI tutor. Thrilled to have Amelia and the rest of the crew join us – welcome to the Ello family! 💛
