About us
At ElectriFly, our mission is to revolutionize the marine propulsion industry by providing an efficient and reliable full electric propulsion. Aqualev, our main product, is an innovative shaft-less thruster featuring a unique conical magnetic support system. What sets Aqualev apart is the (patented) magnetic levitation technology, which eliminates the need for mechanical bearings to sustain the propeller, avoiding seals and lubrication systems, reducing maintenance costs and increasing system reliability. The electric motor, integrated into the duct, drives the propeller using a permanent magnet DC motor, eliminating the need for mechanical commutators and brushes, thereby reducing wear and maintenance. The passive magnetic suspension, inspired by Indutrack train technology, and the active magnetic system, similar to Maglev train technology, provide both axial and radial support to the propeller, enhancing stability and control. Aqualev operates submerged, with only electric cables passing through the ship hull, optimizing space utilization.
