A generous grant from the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation helps fund two school food pantries at Middletown High School and Tiverton High School and provides healthy meals in our Preschool and After School programs. Dunkin' brings joy because well-fed kids are happy kids. Mass General for Children (MGfC) recently welcomed a new staff member—Kayce, who will serve as MGfC’s facility dog and an active member of their care team. Why does the Foundation focus on supporting kids battling illness and hunger? Because of grants like this, in which $10,000 means that Suncoast Charities can provide 2,000 meals for preschool kids while engaging them in hands-on literacy activities.

The Foundation was honored to present a check for $10,000 to the Loudon Education Foundation in early January. This grant will provide weekend meal kits for up to 400 students!
