Building a community is such an important part of living with diabetes – especially for kids who are diagnosed at a young age. That’s why Dexcom is proud to attend the Children with Diabetes #FFL conference to support them in their mission to provide education and inspiration for families navigating early diagnosis. This year, we were honored to have #DWTS pro Rylee Arnold join us. She met with caregivers and children from across the country to share more about her own personal experience living with Type 1 diabetes and how she overcame challenges to achieve her dream of becoming a professional dancer. Rylee inspires so many in the diabetes community to discover what they’re made of, and this year’s event wouldn’t have been the same without her!

Representation is so important – especially for young kids who are diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It’s awesome to see a partnership like this come to life, which will have a positive impact on so many regardless of age. Congrats to our partners at Breakthrough T1D for spearheading this effort! #CGMtechnology
Breakthrough T1D is thrilled and proud to partner with Mattel, Inc. on the first-ever Barbie doll with type 1 diabetes, designed with inclusion and empathy at the core. 💙 Type 1 diabetes (T1D) occurs when the body stops making its own insulin, which is why this Barbie wears a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) to track her blood sugar, and an insulin pump at her waist! The doll represents the incredible people living with T1D and shows kids that a life with this condition is just as vibrant, fulfilling, and rich with possibilities. Her blue polka dot style is a nod to the global symbols for diabetes awareness, and a reminder of the life-changing work Breakthrough T1D is doing to help make everyday life with type 1 diabetes better while driving toward cures. Last weekend, we hosted a special guest at the #ADA2025 Scientific Sessions. Lance Bass, a Dexcom Warrior, spoke with Anita Swamy, MD, about the newest advancements in diabetes technology. Bass talked about how #DexcomG7 has changed the way he manages his diabetes and expressed his enthusiasm for our next Dexcom G7 15 Day launch. Additionally, we published the "Dexcom State of Type 2 Report: Access and Attitudes in the United States," which revealed that over 50% of medical professionals surveyed think that during the next ten years, improving access to continuous glucose monitoring will be the most efficient way for individuals with Type 2 diabetes to manage their illness. In case you missed it, here is a complete list of the announcements we made in Chicago: https://lnkd.in/gu__zPjD

Type 2 diabetes is a growing epidemic – with more than 38.4 million Americans living with the condition. Today, we unveiled the next iteration of our State of Type 2 Report – this time focusing on the perspectives of patients and providers in the U.S. to understand what they see as the future of Type 2 diabetes care. As the report shows, these findings serve as a timely conversation ahead of #ADA2025, where we continue to see a growing body of evidence supporting #DexcomCGM to improve outcomes for people living with Type 2 diabetes regardless of insulin or medication use. Get the full report here (https://lnkd.in/gFt-3Qet) and be sure to stop by our booth if you’re in Chicago this weekend!
