🌊⚙️⚡️ Exciting News from Deep Anchor Solutions! We’re thrilled to share that Deep Anchor Solutions Inc. has been selected for the #DOETEAMER Round 14 (#RFTS14) Technical Support program! Our project, "Advancing the Deeply Embedded Ring Anchor (DERA) through ABS Certification and Risk Assessment," is one of fifteen projects awarded as part of this $1.9 million initiative for #MarineEnergy research. In collaboration with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), we will conduct comprehensive engineering evaluations and risk assessments to ensure compliance and certification of DERA technology. This project will contribute significantly to the marine energy sector by providing certified reference cases, enhancing industry confidence, and promoting sustainable solutions. This year, we welcome our talented intern, Spencer Siemer, who is diving into hands-on experience in the marine energy field with our dedicated team. 🌊 The 2025 Marine Energy Fellowship is now open for applications! 📢 The 2025 fellowship introduces a new two-track structure for graduate students and recent graduates aiming to advance their careers. Why join? Fellows can gain hands-on experience with leading scientists and researchers, and Deep Anchor Solutions will support specialization in areas like numerical modeling, field testing, or techno-economic analysis based on the fellow’s interests. With guidance from experienced mentors, fellows enjoy opportunities for professional networking, industry collaboration, and contributing to research publications or presentations—building a well-rounded, industry-relevant experience.
