Yesterday, Cortex joined in welcoming ten new startups to Washington University in St. Louis Office of Technology Management (Tech Transfer), located in the heart of our District. As OTM assists Washington University in St. Louis faculty in transferring tech from the lab to the global marketplace, we are proud to support collaboration, innovation and impact in the tech and biotech spaces. Also proud to celebrate Guillermo Rivera-Gonzalez, co-founder of CapyBio, Cortex's Square One alum and #WeAreCortex ambassador!

Cultivating innovation is a large part of chef and restauranteur Michael’s everyday work. “Innovation comes with just seeing what comes in from the farmers each day,” he shares. At Cortex, we celebrate and support people like Michael and the team at Vicia, all of whom cultivate innovation by allowing inspiration to take the lead. Within seven years in the District, pushing culinary boundaries has paid off, earning Vicia a semi-finalist nomination from The James Beard Foundation and even more accolades.
