Exciting conversations with inspiring minds this morning—thank you Amias Gerety, Phil Bronner, Tige Savage and Mark Frantz for a thought-provoking discussion! I’m energized by what’s ahead in 2025. I believe we’ll see two transformative shifts: 1️⃣ AI Revolutionizing the Physical World: From next-gen robotics to autonomous factories redefining industries. 🏭 2️⃣ The Physical World Adapting to AI: Upgraded energy infrastructure ⚡️ and connectivity networks will be essential to power and scale these advancements. A huge thank you to Paul Sherman for bringing us together. Looking forward to what’s to come!
“2025 will be the year of AI entering the physical world - but things need to change in the physical world to enable AI.” - Camila Key Saruhashi at Potomac Tech Wire's Venture Capital Outlook 2025 #VentureCapital #Startups What are some industries that you foresee undergoing this transformation?

The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) requested solutions that enable the automated coordination of swarms of un-crewed assets across multiple domains, as part of the Replicator Initiative. Out of the 132 companies that submitted 165 solutions, DIU made prototype awards under the Autonomous Collaborative Teaming (ACT) contract to 3 companies, one of which is Swarm Aero. “This demonstrates how the Department can leverage commercial solutions and rapidly prototype, field and scale capabilities to address the operational needs of the Joint Force.” says Dr. Radha Plumb, the Chief Digital and AI Officer of the DoD. Congrats to Danny Goodman, Oliver Palmer, Peter Kalogiannis and the rest of the Swarm team on their continued progress!

Congratulations to Josh Stein and the team at Impilo on announcing their $11.5M Series A, led by Construct. Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) has proven to be an effective technology to increase access to care and improve outcomes. Impilo has built the infrastructure layer — a 4PL and suite of data management tools — so RPM can be delivered seamlessly, and health care professionals can focus on patients. We couldn't be more excited to be a part of their journey!
