Major maintenance and upgrades are proceeding ahead of plan and new equipment will soon be on the way. We’ve also already hired more than 200 full-time workers and kicked off training programs as we prepare to operate the plant at world class levels of safety and performance, just as we did before its premature closure. Check out the milestones we’ve ticked off so far. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eUHZSrtE

  • The City of Chicago operates more than 400 municipal buildings, and beginning this year, their combined electricity consumption will be matched with 100% renewable energy. Constellation’s Offsite Renewables (CORe) product helped make that milestone a reality, enabling the city to source a large portion of its clean power from Swift Current Energy’s Double Black Diamond project in downstate Illinois, one of the largest solar projects in the U.S. For more on how we worked with the city to reduce its carbon footprint, check out the clip!
