    Interesting article by The B2B Institute where they highlight the power of chasing shadows in B2B marketing. The Buyers You Can’t See! 🎯 Fewer accounts, more decision-makers per account! Your ICP may be delusional sometimes (most of the time cos we decide it) Most B2B marketing focuses on who engages - but what about those who decide? Procurement, CXOs, finance - they may not click ads, but they hold the veto power and every org has a unique hierarchy, job titles, and decision powers. Do we miss targeting them? I feel ABM should focus on limited accounts with large audiences - Influencers, Decision Makers(Your Ideal ICP), and a whole lot of senior folks from the same account.     Today, I came across a quote that really struck me: "Buyers buy, sellers don’t sell." Perfectly captures the shift in how buying decisions are made today. LinkedIn’s B2B Institute points out that only ~5% of your target audience is actively looking to buy at any given moment. The rest? They're not ready yet, but they will be eventually. Take the automobile industry, for example. You don’t buy a car every year - but when the time is right, you're ready. And when you are, you know exactly where to look. The same goes for any industry.
