🚀 The World Energy Cities Partnership (WECP) Annual General Meeting has just wrapped up, and what an incredible experience it has been! 🌍 At Innovation Dock, we had the pleasure of hosting and introducing six fantastic companies—three from the US—to Norway and our vibrant Stavanger region (CLS Wind, renasys, Advanced Ionics, CalWave Inc., ZEG Power, Soundsensing). These companies participated in workshops, engaging talks, and knowledge-sharing sessions, gaining valuable insights from the local ecosystem. They also explored our regional assets, including the cutting-edge test facilities in Risavika, and even enjoyed a stunning boat trip - and a hike - to the iconic Pulpit Rock in Lysefjorden. In addition to the companies, WECP brought together key players working on regional development, ecosystems, and universities, fostering connections that span across the globe. We had the opportunity to build strong ties with ecosystem players and companies from Aberdeen, Houston, Esbjerg, Gröningen, Calgary, and Saudi Arabia, reinforcing our belief in the power of collaboration. 🤝 We are especially grateful to Claudine Ang, Karl from Startuplab, Jon Trygve from Validé AS, Christian from Super Duper Ventures, Manon from Greentown Labs, Anne and Birger from Stavanger Business Region for their fantastic collaboration throughout this event.
