About us
Cityblock was founded in 2017 as the first tech-driven provider for communities with complex needs. We deliver better care to where it’s needed most, investing upstream in highly personalized, prevention-oriented health and social care to ultimately drive down costs and improve outcomes. Our tech enables scale by bringing together practical information, coordination, and communication for our members and our care teams. We are adamant about building a radically better member experience for people living in lower-income neighborhoods that have never been prioritized. And we won’t be satisfied with anything less than transforming the way that health services are delivered in previously underserved communities across the U.S. Join us! cityblock.com/careers

Despite decades of evidence showing that addiction treatment requires sustained management and ongoing support, today’s behavioral health system continues to prioritize short-term interventions. To improve patient care and outcomes, the system must be redesigned. Be sure to check out the latest article in Behavioral Health Business from our Head of Behavioral Health, Yavar Moghimi, MD, to learn more about the fundamental changes needed to transform how behavioral health care is both financed and delivered. https://lnkd.in/eYSH6-iy

Today, we released a report exploring how AI can transform the healthcare system to deliver better care, improved outcomes, and greater access for vulnerable populations, including those on Medicaid and dually eligible for Medicaid and Medicare. Roughly 60% of healthcare AI investment is going toward revenue cycle management, billing optimization, and risk adjustment, but by focusing on vulnerable populations, there is an opportunity to make a more meaningful, material impact in care delivery and engagement. For years, the Medicaid and dual-eligible populations have been overlooked by healthcare innovation. Building AI that truly works for these populations is challenging. The stakes are high, data is fragmented and complex, and the margin for error is slim. Yet the potential impact is enormous. Now is our chance to shift the narrative and bring meaningful innovation to the Medicaid/Duals space. Discover our vision for responsible, impactful AI in Medicaid/Duals. With the right technology and the right incentives, we can make healthcare more human.
