On Friday, the Mayor’s Office of Black Male Advancement held our 2nd Annual Empowerment summit, at the Roxbury Community College Media Arts Center. This year’s theme, “Pathways to Generational Wealth” emphasized creating systemic change and taking tangible actions to create opportunities for success, empowerment, and growth for Black men and boys in Boston. We’d like to thank Mayor Wu, Chairman Tito Jackson and the Black Men and Boys Commission, as well as our brothers from the City of Philadelphia Office of Black Male Engagment , Mayor’s Commission on African American Males, and their mayor Cherelle Parker for their partnership in this work.
