This week, CFP Board and Financial Planning Association (FPA) are partnering to visit Members of Congress to discuss key policy initiatives that will strengthen the financial planning profession and better support the American public. The topics on the table include restoring and expanding tax incentives for financial advice, supporting Section 199A deductions for CFP® professionals, and advocating for the inclusion of certifications in 529 Plans. This effort underscores the need to increase access to ethical and competent financial planning for the American public.
