With a population of 9.6 million, the Los Angeles metro area is anything but small. Yet, in the wake of the recent fires, the overwhelming generosity of donations and volunteers has made our community feel closer than ever. But the road to recovery will be long, and continued support will be crucial. A Holiday Note from Adrian Corless and the CarbonCapture, Inc. Team As we enter the holiday season, I want to take a moment to reflect on what’s been a pivotal year for us at CarbonCapture. We’ve made tremendous strides toward realizing our vision of scaling direct air capture technology. Here are just a few of the highlights: A Successful $80 Million Series A Funding Round: Led by Prime Movers Lab and joined by strategic investors like Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund, Aramco Ventures, and Siemens Financial Services, this funding will drive the continued development and deployment of our DAC systems. Winning Phase 1 of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Carbon Dioxide Removal Purchase Pilot Prize: This recognition underscores our commitment to growing the domestic CDR economy and workforce, improve market efficiency and transparency, and establish best practices to advance and improve the most effective CDR technologies. As a semifinalist in the competition, we’re in the running to win up to $3 million for the sale of our credits to the U.S. government. Welcoming Neil Chatterjee to our Board of Directors: Neil, former Chairman of FERC, brings deep expertise in energy policy and a reputation as a bipartisan leader. His guidance will be instrumental as we navigate the evolving carbon removal landscape. Introducing the Leo Series Modules: Designed for mass production and ease of global transport, each module captures over 500 tons of CO2 annually, bringing our technology readiness level to 8 and moving us closer to scalable carbon removal. Securing a Lease for the World’s First DAC Manufacturing Facility: Our new 83,000-square-foot plant in Mesa, Arizona, will produce up to 4,000 modules per year - enabling 2 megatons of CO2 removal annually when at full capacity. Expanding our footprint in Los Angeles: With our headquarters at capacity, we opened a second LA-based facility dedicated to fabrication and prototype testing, ensuring our ability to support continued growth and innovation. Of course, no year in an industry as ambitious as ours is without its challenges. But each hurdle has inspired us to think bigger, act bolder, and remain committed to our mission. To our partners, investors, and supporters - thank you for your collaboration and trust. To the incredible team that I’m fortunate to work with each day - thank you for your dedication. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to accelerate our impact and continue building a future where direct air capture helps drive global climate action. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year! Warm regards, Adrian Corless Chief Executive Officer CarbonCapture Inc.

Our team is thrilled to participate in two exciting carbon removal events in Tokyo this week: On Wednesday, December 4, we’ll join the 2024 Japan CCS Forum, hosted by the Global CCS Institute. Patricia Loria, MBA and MNR, our VP of Business Development, will present on “The Role of DAC in the CCS Ecosystem” at 13:00 JST/8:00 PM PST, highlighting how DAC can integrate within existing point source projects. (Online registration is still available here: t.ly/095Zd) The next day, December 5, we’ll be at the Carbon Removal Technologies & CDR Market Summit where our CEO, Adrian Corless, has been invited to serve as Chairperson for the second half of the day’s sessions. Patricia will also take the stage in the “CDR Tech Solution Panel – Direct Air Capture” at 16:25 JST. We deeply admire Japan’s commitment to developing DAC technologies and we look forward to supporting our partners in their efforts to meet Japan’s ambitious decarbonization goals. #CCSJapan #CCSTokyo #CarbonCapture #CCS #NetZeroJapan

We’re grateful for Senator Bill Cassidy's steadfast support for carbon capture that spans multiple administrations. Our CEO, Adrian Corless, and Director of External Affairs, Matthew Bright, recently visited with Members of Congress to advocate for the vital role of American-manufactured Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology and projects. DAC policy has always transcended political party lines—because regardless of where we come from, we all breathe the same air and share this vibrant planet. As we look ahead to the incoming administration, we remain committed to working with leaders from both sides of the aisle to build on the bipartisan momentum that has driven carbon capture solutions forward. A special thank you to our board member, Neil Chatterjee, for joining us in these pivotal discussions. #DirectAirCapture #BipartisanClimateAction #carboncapture
