As a part of an ongoing lecture series at the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University and hosted by Tom Macdonald, Chief Information Officer Laurent Rotival shared his insights on the future of AI. He highlighted the need for accountability with using AI, the impact it can have on health care and the importance of having a north star to guide us when more people than ever have access to such powerful tools. His advice? Speak to AI. “I recommend having a real conversation with it. Ask questions based on what it shares with you.”

Laurent Rotival, EVP and chief information officer at Cambia Health Solutions, will participate in an AHIP webinar later this week to discuss the benefits and challenges of utilizing generative AI in health care. Yesterday, Director of Applied AI Brooke Cowan represented Cambia on a panel focused on 'Building the Future – Women Leading AI, Data Science, and Emerging Technologies'. This event celebrated the pioneering work of women who are shaping the future of tech in the fields of AI, data science, and emerging technologies. Attendees had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into how these leaders are driving innovation and navigating challenges within a rapidly evolving industry.
