🚨 No clean energy goal will be met without solving the workforce challenge. According to some estimates, for every one person entering the trades, eight are leaving. Let that sink in. This kind of attrition isn't just a staffing problem—it's a crisis that threatens the future of energy efficiency, decarbonization, and home performance. If we’re serious about meeting climate and energy goals, we need to get just as serious about building the workforce that makes it possible. That means recruiting, training, and retaining the next generation of technicians, auditors, and installers—especially from the communities we aim to serve. We sat down with Paul Douglas of the The JPI Group to talk about what it takes to build successful clean energy training pipelines—and how to make them stick. 💡 Check out our latest article in the BPA Journal: 👉 https://lnkd.in/e5hcVKN2 🙏 Huge thanks to the Building Performance Association (BPA) for their ongoing leadership in workforce developemnt. Their tireless work helps move this industry—and the workforce that powers it—forward.
