Maintaining strong relationships and not burning bridges with employers and colleagues as you move on is extremely important. Here's a great example to support this philosophy. Yesterday, I had the privilege to attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston Youth of the Year celebration sponsored by Chevron. This was a great event that highlighted 5 impactful stories from 5 beautiful young ladies. They all received scholarships with the winner receiving the a $10,000 scholarship. During my time with Boys and Girls Clubs, I played a pivitol role in creating and stewarding the relationship with Chevron that has blossomed into what it is today. It felt great to see a bud grow into beautiful rose. Congrats to President and CEO Kevin Hattery, VP of Development Shannon Woodruff and the rest of the team on a great event!
