  • To celebrate Women’s History Month, Blue Owl Celebrates partnered with BOWE (Blue Owl for Women’s Empowerment) to plan a campaign including educational content, events in New York and London and give back activities to honor women’s achievements, spark meaningful conversations and empower the next generation of women leaders at our firm. As part of the celebrations, we welcomed journalist and author Stacey Vanek Smith for a conversation about career development strategies for women. It was an empowering conversation focused on how women can advocate for themselves, lift up others and succeed in the workplace. Huge thank you to Stacey for the thought-provoking conversation!

  • In some ways, the worlds of public and private credit are converging. There is increasing fluidity in borrowing and investing across public and private markets, as traditional institutions seek the attractive yields, customized financing solutions and insulation from public market volatility that private credit investment models can offer.    This week, Co-CEO Marc Lipschultz joined a panel at Bloomberg Invest, where he discussed the case for private credit, the unique role it plays and how access to capital in this space presents an attractive alternative for investors.   Watch the full panel moderated by Dani Burger here: https://lnkd.in/eV4_593K

We are proud to announce four industry awards from PERE, PERE Credit, and Private Debt Investor including 2024 North America Firm of the Year, 2024 North America Industry Figure of the Year for our own Global Head of Real Assets Marc Zahr, 2024 Emerging Credit Fund Manager of the Year, and 2024 Specialty Finance Lender of the Year Americas.   Thank you to each and every one of our team members for their role in helping us earn these extraordinary honors. Increased interest rates, higher inflation and lower credit availability have created a challenging environment over the last few years, but maintaining our disciplined approach has helped us to provide our partners with stability, predictability of income and downside protection.   Congratulations, all!

  • During these cold winter months, providing a quality meal to those in need can go a long way. Last week, we invited members of BOP’N (Blue Owl Pride Network), our employee resource group open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies, to volunteer to pack meals at God's Love We Deliver. God’s Love We Deliver is a non-sectarian organization aimed at improving the well-being of people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. Thank you to everyone who participated in this event!

  • How are we challenging the status quo in private markets? Earlier this month, Managing Director Gary Rozier was invited to address this question during a fireside chat at Raymond James’ Black Financial Advisor Network Symposium. During the conversation, Gary spoke about his career journey, his role at Blue Owl and the opportunities we’re seeing in private markets. Thank you to Chris Fils, CFP® MBA for moderating and to everyone who attended. #RJBFAN #BFANsymposium

  • Our partner managers provide us a unique perspective on private markets and the opportunities on the horizon in 2025.   This month, our GP Strategic Capital team welcomed investors to our Private Markets Outlook Breakfasts in London and Milan to share the trends we’re seeing in capital raising and deal activity.   Thank you to all who attended, and thank you to Senior Managing Director Tiffany A. Johnston and Managing Director Cara Griffiths for hosting. We look forward to continuing these conversations throughout the year.

Partnership is the cornerstone of our wealth business, and events like our Nest Network Summits are a testament to that commitment. Earlier this month in Laguna Beach, we hosted over 200 clients—RIA partners, Morgan Stanley advisors, and RBC advisors—for three days of insightful discussions with Blue Owl Capital executives, investment professionals, and guest speakers. The takeaway was clear: private markets present a growing opportunity, and thoughtful collaboration will be key in helping advisors capture that opportunity for their practice and their clients.
