I’m happy to share a free new resource to explore published single cell transcriptomic datasets from the Sanofi Rare and Neurologic Diseases Therapeutic Area. These include human ALS spinal cords, human iPSC tri-cultures, and mouse EAE spinal cords. This resource was developed by Thang Pham and the BioTuring team on their excellent single cell platform. Datasets from the following manuscripts authored by Matija Zelic, PhD, Sean Ryan, PhD, Gregory Wirak, Dimitry Ofengeim, and many others are included: 1.)   BTK regulates microglial function and neuroinflammation in human stem cell models and mouse models of multiple sclerosis | Nature Communications 2.)   Microglia ferroptosis is regulated by SEC24B and contributes to neurodegeneration | Nature Neuroscience 3.)   Glial state changes and neuroinflammatory RIPK1 signaling are a key feature of ALS pathogenesis | bioRxiv (in press) Thanks to the Sanofi R&D Digital team and to all who contributed to the development of the platform and the datasets in these studies.
