New year, new beginnings for one of Alaska's original enclosed malls. Portions of the former Northway Mall have now been demolished to reimagine the 30-acre site on Penland Parkway in Anchorage into a premier mixed-use property featuring industrial, flex warehouse, office, medical and retail. The demolition and other major site improvements are ushering in a lineup of new businesses, including a new 37,000-square-foot hub unit for O’Reilly Auto Parts that will open this summer. Several updated, large box spaces are ready for lease with great access and exposure to Glenn Highway. Spaces from 20,000 to 100,000 square feet are available, plus build-to-suite spaces up to 500,000 square feet.
