Here's a sneak peak into our contact (Pallet) imagery provided by our autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) from the Advanced Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX) Coastal Trident! 1️⃣ Side-scan sonar (left) imagery provides a visual reference for the appearance of contacts on the seafloor as well as baseline measurements of contact dimensions 2️⃣ Magnetometer residual field (middle) data indicates the presence of ferrous metals 3️⃣ Multibeam echosounder bathymetry (right) data with inset seafloor height profile provides context regarding the impact of the contact on surrounding geology.
