How can Avnos’ water-positive, hybrid direct air capture (HDAC) approach help scale DAC? Our CEO Will Kain recently sat down with Carbon Pulse’s Dimana Doneva to discuss how we’re scaling our technology, while tackling the sector’s high costs. “Most other DAC systems treat water as a cost line item. We're able to flip that and turn it into a revenue line item,” he explained. Check out the full piece to see how we’re ramping up commercial activity in 2025 and ushering in cost-effective DAC: https://lnkd.in/gDCw-_-Z

“We are the only water positive company in direct air capture,” Avnos, Inc. CEO Will Kain told Carbon Herald's Sasha Ranevsha in a recent Q&A. “This, we believe, gives us a pathway to the lowest cost of a delivered ton of CO2 in the carbon removal space." In case you missed it, Will shared more about Avnos’ hybrid direct air capture (HDAC) approach, our projects in California and New Jersey, why 2025 is the year for commercialization for Avnos, and how we’re helping the DAC industry get closer to gigaton-scale: https://lnkd.in/eKtFwGvB
Led by Will Kain, Avnos, Inc. is redefining the idea of direct air capture (DAC) with proprietary innovations that have piqued the interest of both business and government stakeholders. https://bit.ly/3Q4Mw5D

As we wrap up 2024, our partners at the @Carbon Removal Alliance reflect on how it was a pivotal year for bringing CDR projects to communities across the US – highlighting not one but 2️⃣ of Avnos’ projects, where we hosted elected leaders for fruitful discussions. 🌀 Over the summer, we welcomed US Representative Congressman Tom Kean, Jr., Jr. (NJ-07) alongside Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench, Bridgewater Councilman Michael Kirsh, and Somerset County Commissioner Paul M. Drake, PP AICP-CEP for a tour of our R&D lab in Bridgewater, NJ. 🌀 Just weeks later, across the country, we hosted US Representative David Valadao (CA-22) at Project Alpine, our pilot facility near Bakersfield, CA – which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Avnos is making strides to deploy our groundbreaking HDAC technology coast-to-coast, contributing jobs and critical resources. We couldn’t do it without the incredible support from our local leaders, and we’re looking forward to continued momentum in 2025!
