    Over the last two weeks, we were grateful to host dinners with some of the top revenue leaders in NYC! The biggest takeaway was that leaders are increasingly adopting automation across the bottom of the funnel. There used to be a lack of trust in removing manual work on actions that were so closely tied to closing revenue, but now teams are jumping into the deep end, trying to automate anything that they can. These dinners were a blast—we got to build community in NYC, discuss the latest and greatest in AI and Sales, and share some good laughs with new friends.     One month in as a BDR at Attention, and let’s just say… a lot of surprises (in the best way possible)! Before starting, I thought my day would look something like this: Expected: Dial a list of numbers I was given and reach out to anyone. Reality: I’m building my own lists, researching who would be a good fit, and reaching out with a tailored approach. Expected: Send out templated emails and hope for responses. Reality: I’m personalizing every message, using insights from research and real conversations to drive engagement. Expected: Get told “no” a lot. Reality: Still getting plenty of them, but each one is a learning opportunity that helps me refine my approach and improve. The biggest surprise? How much strategy goes into the role. BDRs aren’t just cold callers—we’re problem solvers, researchers, and relationship builders. None of this would be possible without a fantastic team around me, providing unwavering support and guidance. From sharing insights to helping me refine my approach, the people at Attention have made all the difference. Excited to keep learning and growing with this incredible group.

    WE ARE ENTERING THE GOLDEN AGE OF SALES. 2024 was all about prompts. 2025 will be all about AI agents. They work for you ALL THE TIME without you having to input prompts. I’ve seen so many great uses cases that get rid of LITERALLY the worst part of sales.
