  • The Speech and Hearing Camp in Faafu Atoll was more than just a one-time initiative—it was a step toward long-term change. • In addition to working with children, the Speech and Hearing Camp in Faafu Atoll also focused on empowering teachers. A two-day workshop in Feeali and Magoodhoo brought together 45 Special Education Needs (SEN) and foundation stage teachers from across the atoll. These workshops provided educators with practical strategies to enhance communication, minimize challenges, and foster inclusive learning environments. When teachers are equipped with the right tools, they can make a lasting difference in the lives of children with speech and hearing disabilities. Creating change starts with knowledge, and this initiative ensures that both children and educators are supported in their journey toward inclusivity. 📸 Archive album: ARC Speech and Hearing Camp in Faafu Atoll Learn more: atmosphere-foundation.org

  • Language is more than just words; it is connection, identity, and access to the world. For the deaf and speech-impaired community, the absence of accessible communication often leads to isolation and limited opportunities. Sign language is not just a tool; it is a lifeline that enables individuals to express themselves, engage in education, and participate fully in society. Through Bridging Voices with Sign, Atmosphere Foundation is working to break down barriers by developing digital sign language videos that will serve as a resource for both the deaf community and those around them. By fostering awareness and accessibility, we are not only improving communication but also empowering individuals to be seen, heard, and understood. 📸 Archive album: Bridging Voices with Sign Learn more: atmosphere-foundation.org

  • Disabilities profoundly impact children's lives, and those with speech and hearing impairments face unique challenges in communication and accessing essential services. At the Speech and Hearing Camp in Faafu Atoll, a specialist worked closely with children to provide individual assessments, diagnoses, and audiometric tests. The therapist also offered interventions for children with ADHD, Autism, learning difficulties, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and dyslexia. These tailored interventions help children develop better communication skills and receive the support they need for their daily lives. Early intervention creates brighter futures, and we are proud to be part of this journey toward inclusivity and empowerment. 📸 Archive album: ARC Speech and Hearing Camp in Faafu Atoll Learn more: atmosphere-foundation.org
